O Theotokos, revealed through you to us on earth was the mystery, that was hidden for ages and unknown by the angels. Michael and Gabriel, foremost-ranking leaders * of the celestial and high-throned awesome beings * of divine glory, you are their supreme Commanders. * O Ministers of the Master, with all the hosts * of bodiless powers ceaselessly intercede * on behalf of the universe, entreating earnestly that He * forgive our sins, that we might find * grace and mercy on Judgment Day.
