Saints of God, intercede for us.

Rightly has the assembly of holy fathers decreed for us * worshipers of God that Christ’s depiction be restored * and taught the appropriate relative veneration of it. * We Orthodox Christians, as obedient children, * each year observe their feast day in the Church, and with longing * we venerate the icon of Christ with holy kisses.
