Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, You are magnified exceedingly; You clothe Yourself with thanksgiving and majesty, who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, who stretch out the heavens like a curtain; You are He who covers His upper chambers with water, who makes the clouds His means of approach, who walks on the wings of the winds, who makes His angels spirits and His ministers a flame of fire. He established the earth on its stable foundation; it shall not be moved unto ages of ages. The deep like a garment is His covering; the waters shall stand upon the mountains; at Your rebuke they shall flee; at the sound of Your thunder, they shall be afraid. The mountains rise up, and the plains sink down to the place You founded for them. You set a boundary they shall not pass over; neither shall they return to cover the earth. Remembering our all-holy, immaculate, most blessed, and glorious Lady, the Theotokos and ever-virgin Mary, with all the saints, let us commend ourselves and one another and our whole life to Christ our God.

At first You created me from earth, O Lord most benevolent. * With Your image You honored me * and granted me the delight, * which was in the Garden. * And when I was lured with the tree of knowledge and I fell * into decay, You descended from on high, * immortal One, becoming mortal, and for me You were crucified * and as God resurrected me, * in Your mercy immeasurable. Because of Your law, O Lord, I waited for You; my soul waited for Your word. My soul hopes in the Lord. [SAAS]

O all-lauded Theotokos, I implore you to wipe away * all the filth from my sorry heart, * disinfecting all its wounds and its ulcerations, * which were generated by sin, O pure one, and arrest * the instability of my intellect; * and I, who am your undeserving and contemptible supplicant, * will extol you and magnify * your great help and your majesty. Ὅσιε Πάτερ.
For with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption; and He shall redeem Israel from all his transgressions. [SAAS]
O devout Mother Euphrosyne, you are admirable. You longed for what your name denotes, that is happiness, and you traveled the path of life that produces it. You exchanged your wealth for extreme poverty, your bodily bridegroom for the One who lives forever, fleeting pleasure for self-control, the easy life for labors of asceticism, mundane life for the supermundane. You attained this, together with the wise virgins, for you kept your lamp from being extinguished, and you were granted entry into the wedding hall, as a virgin, as a bride of Christ, O Saint extolled by all. [SD]
Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles; praise Him, all you peoples. [SAAS]
Your tears, like rivers, watered your mind; and by your ascetic discipline, you produced the fruits of virtue; and like a mature grapevine you brought forth ripe grapes, O modest Saint. We imbibe the sweet wine from these, and the senses of our souls are truly sweetened by imitating you. And in accordance with your name, which means happiness, we feel divine happiness, as we reject the intoxication of sin, and we cry out: O most modest Saint, importune Christ continually, that He grant concord, peace and mercy to the whole wide world. For His mercy rules over us; and the truth of the Lord endures forever. [SAAS]
Your situation was unusual and naturally hard to believe: how you eluded the cunning devices of the devil who seduced Eve of old, living in the company of men, as you did, with such a perfect frame of mind; how you passed through the midst of fire and remained unscathed; how you concealed your feminine frailty, strengthened as you were by the divine power of the Lord, who had assumed our weakness and was born of the Virgin. As you dance now with Angels, pray to Him earnestly, that He grant concord, peace and mercy to the whole wide world. [SD]

You preserved yourself chaste and undefiled by men, and thus you became a bride of Christ, O all-blessed Euphrosyne. By ascetic labors you withered your physical beauty, but you beautified your soul with the good looks of grace. You concealed your femininity beneath a masculine demeanor, you lived an angelic life, and thus you eluded the traps of Belial. Now we entreat you to pray for peace, for us who extol you with longing; for your name means joy, and you bring gladness to the world. [SD]

Savior, when the Ewe-lamb without spot * watched as You her Lamb, as a mortal, were being willingly led * to the slaughter, she lamented and she tearfully said, “Now You hasten, O Christ, to make * Your own Mother childless. * O Redeemer of the world, why have You done this to me? * Yet, I glorify and I honor * the extreme ineffable goodness * that is Yours, O Master most benevolent.” [SD]

O Christ, You have given us Your Cross as a weapon undefeatable; and thereby we defeat the assaults of the enemy. [SD]
Verse: I lift my eyes to You, who dwell in heaven. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hands of their masters, as the eyes of the maidservant look to the hands of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God until He shall have compassion on us. [SAAS]
O Christ, in possession of Your Cross as a source of help forevermore, with ease we trample underfoot the snares of the enemy. [SD]
