Your resurrection has illumined the entire earth, O Savior Christ; and from the dead You summoned back Your creature. O almighty Lord, glory to You! [GOASD]

O Savior, by a tree You lifted the curse of the tree; by Your burial You put to death the power of death; and by Your resurrection You illumined our human race. We therefore sing to You: O Giver of life, Christ our God, glory to You! [GOASD]

When You, O Christ, were publicly nailed to the cross, creation’s beauty was altered. The Roman soldiers demonstrated inhumanity and pierced Your side with a spear. O Christ, as the Giver of Life, for us mortals, You willingly underwent the Passion. She is now born, and the world is renewed with her. She is begotten and the Church is adorned in her comeliness.
